## Temperament of Shiba Inu

**Temperament:** Shibas are at all times prepared for adventure, so they play well with children, but they do need firm training and can be vocal.

**Exercise Level:** Shiba Inus do best when they can play both indoors and outdoors on a regular basis.

**Grooming Needs:** LOW to Moderate. Shibas have a double coat and need brushing about twice per week to help reduce shedding.

## Ingredient Breakdown
The second ingredient is ground peas, which are very beneficial to dogs. The peas contribute plenty of fiber, protein, and other micronutrients to a dog’s diet.

Vegetable glycerin follows as the third in the list. It’s there to prevent mold from growing and to act as a binder. You can also find chickpea flour, tapioca starch, and ground flaxseed. Chickpeas add a boost of fiber and protein to any diet.
